The Devotee represents a balanced crown chakra. A woman honoring the unknown. I did this painting to represent faith and the experience of divine energy removed from our reflection as physical vessels.

The guiding principals behind both the balance of the Sahasrara, or Crown Chakra are the element of thought and the feeling of faith in the unknown. A mantra for this painting would be 'I know myself without looking'. The seventh chakra is located at the top of our heads, it's color is violet, it's energy is spiritual connection and it's goal is to understand. A figure bows, worshipping into the void, a mirror is present.
